Welcome, Suppliers

At Spira, our vision is to provide the digital tools necessary to create truly inclusive environments. We believe that accessibility shouldn't be an afterthought. If this resonates with your brand’s mission, we’d love to help you lead the way

Why Spira?

Bridging the gap between UK Legislation and design practice

Spira simplifies the complex world of visual contrast and compliance. By integrating directly into the architect’s workflow, we turn technical data into a seamless design experience.

The Advantages of listing with Spira:

Be the Easiest to Specify

When designers use Spira to calculate Visual Contrast (LRV differences), your products are the "path of least resistance." Because your data is already integrated, you become the default choice for compliant specifications.

Demonstrate Inclusive Leadership

Showcase your commitment to inclusive design. Listing with Spira proves your brand is serious about supporting users with visual impairments, dementia and neurodiversities through better, data-driven design.

Presence at the Point of Decision

Don't just be in a catalogue; be on the screen when the floor is being chosen. Spira puts your ranges in front of architects and designers at the exact moment they are making specification decisions.

Why do we charge more for products with textures?
The additional fee covers the technical complexity of hosting and rendering high-resolution, seamless textures compared to a standard hex colour

Frequently Asked Questions

What information do you need to list our products?

To list a product, we require: the Product Name, its LRV (Light Reflectance Value) and either a Hex code or a seamless texture file. Most manufacturers already have this data publicly available; we simply integrate it into our system for you

What is a Hex number?

A Hex number is a six-digit code that digitally represents a colour. We use them for paints and flat-coloured materials, to ensure your products are displayed accurately in our visualiser. If you have a digital swatch on your website, a Hex code likely already exists for it. We never "guess" colours; we use your exact data to ensure there are no distortions or misrepresentations. It is usually possible for us to access your hex values manually, but for a swift data integration it is helpful if you can provide these values in a spreadsheet, csv or similar format

What happens when we update our catalogue?

We are here to support your growth. We periodically check in to ensure that we are working from your latest catalogue and we prioritise making updates in a timely manner to keep your digital library current

How can I trust Spira to represent my products accurately?

Spira is built on precision. By using your official LRV data and Hex/Texture files, we ensure that your products are represented exactly as they are on your own website. This accuracy is what makes Spira the "path of least resistance" for designers; they can trust the data to meet UK legislation, making your products the default choice for compliant specifications

How do I know if designers are specifying my products?

We track engagement through our tool’s analytics and share these insights with you at regular intervals. Whilst we don't have oversight of project specifications, we provide data on how often your products are viewed and selected. Most importantly, we track downloads of our 'Visual Contrast Report' PDF. This report is used in project documentation, serving as a very strong indicator that your products are being used on a live project
